Members represent more than 12,000 employers/purchasers and 45 million Americans, spending $300 billion annually on healthcare

The Action Group is committed to the National Alliance, understanding that, while health care is local, many employers’ health and benefits needs are national. The National Alliance knits together healthcare purchaser coalitions nationwide, so members have access to a deep understanding of and relationships within local markets everywhere. In addition, Action Group members benefit from the sharing of best practices and free admission to national events.

The National Alliance offers a series of Action Briefs to support the critical role purchasers and purchaser-led coalitions play as change agents in improving health and health care in employee populations and the community at large. Action Briefs provide steps and strategies employers can use to improve health and health care delivery.
