We Want to Hear from You–Blog by Deidre Serum, Sr. Director of Benefits, Best Buy
“What is the shortest word in the English language that contains the letters: abcdef? Answer: feedback.
Feedback is essential to success. When you use Best Buy’s Geek Squad, you promptly receive an email requesting your feedback. If you shop at Target, your receipt invites you to take a two-minute survey about your experience. After you dine out, you can post a review on Yelp! When you provide constructive and timely feedback, you can reinforce what is excellent and support continuous improvement.
As important as feedback is in the business world, it is even more important in a coalition. As a membership organization, The Action Group needs feedback. You – the members – are the equivalent of both the shareholders and customers. We want to hear from you.
If you attend an event (like the Summit or a member meeting), you have an opportunity to provide immediate feedback on that specific event. However, we also need broader, strategic input.
You – the members – are the equivalent of both the shareholders and customers. We want to hear from you.
You can access the survey by following the link below. We want to understand why you engage with The Action Group, how you engage, and what you find valuable. You’ll also have an opportunity to share ideas for improvement and your perspective on the most urgent issues facing employers today.
Here are a few logistics:
- First, the survey is confidential. We hope this allows you to be fully candid.
- Second, it is short. It will take less than 10 minutes to respond.
- Third, diverse perspectives are important, and we want to hear from all contacts. So, if three people from your organization participate in The Action Group, we hope all of you will respond to the survey.
- Finally, the Board is committed to understanding and acting upon the feedback. We’ll also report back to you on what we learned.
It will take less than 10 minutes to respond to our confidential survey.
As Bill Gates has said, “We all need people who will give us feedback. That’s how we improve.” Please take time to fill out our member engagement survey. It will help guide the work of the Board and ensure that this is your Minnesota Health Action Group!
