Over 80 Minnesota employers gathered at an Action Group-hosted employer summit on November 13 to discuss diabetes in the workplace and how they can take action to improve health and lower costs. Most attendees weren’t aware that one in three Americans has prediabetes and 90 percent don’t know it. Without intervention, about 70 percent of these people will develop full-blown type 2 diabetes.
